the past & present

music

I've been playing various kinds of recorders since I was around 6 or 7 years old. I took music classes until I was roughly 14 years old, and in the course of those years I've played spranino, sopran, alto, tenor, bass, subbass and subcontrabass variants. I personally own sopranino, sopran, alto, tenor and bass recorders (the bigger ones are way to expensive for me to own).

Nowadays, I most often play my bass recorder together in either a duo or a band. I try to teach myself how to play the guitar, which makes slow, unsteady process.

the future?

If you ask me what I'll be doing in ten years, I couldn't give you an answer. I think there is no point in planning that far ahead, you never know what'll get in the way of your great plans. I have some rough ideas, or dreams, of what I want to do though. I'd love to be some kind of teacher for electrical engineering. I love tutoring, and I was pretty good at explaining concepts my classmates didn't understand back in my HTL days. (some even went so far and claimed that they couldn't have finished the school without my help)

If that doesn't work out, I'd love to work on control engineering. It is the part of electrical engineering that interests me the most. It kinda feels like magic.

The one thing that's certain is that music will always be a part of my life. Regardless if I'm just listening, playing, or maybe even creating, music shall never leave me.
